Now it’s time to introduce the widely acclaimed Myrczek & Tomaszewski duo from Poland, consisting of Wojciech Myrczek, a winner of Grand Prix and Audience Prize of Shure Montreux Jazz Voice Competition and Pawel Tomaszewski, a classical and world music pianist who tours around the world with Polish and international jazz stars. The strength of the duo lies in confrontation of its member’s personalities, their musical creativity and care for every artistic detail. Their musical dialogue is build up from ambitious songs, crazy improvisation and moments of pensiveness – always with a little touch of humour. Love Revisited, their first album consists of well-known jazz pieces, but those who think that everything has been already sung are to be greatly surprised. Myrczek & Tomaszewski is without a doubt one of the most interesting voice and piano debuts of the past decade. Their album represents this exceptional style of music, which makes you want to play it over and over again.

1987-born vocalist Wojciech Myrczek has been raised in a family of musicians, thus his musical journey has begun early with learning to play cello and piano. During college he has turned his interests to jazz and graduated from The Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of jazz singing. He soon developed remarkable skills in scat improvisation supported by his vivid harmonic imagination. In his music Myrczek refers to both instrumental approach to human voice as well as the singing of great songs tradition. In 2015 Wojciech Myrczek was announced as 1st Best Male Jazz Vocalist in Poland (Jazz Press, International Jazz Magazine). During his career Myrczek worked with Tomasz Stańko, Jan „Ptaszyn” Wróblewski, Henryk Miśkiewicz, Anna Serafińska, Michael „Patches” Stewart, „Camerata Silesia” Katowice City Singers Ensemble and many others. He performed on many international jazz festivals, i.e. The Hague Jazz (Holland), BlueBoat (Germany), Green Town of Jazz (Poland), Emanacje (Poland), Kolory Polski (Poland).

Pianist, composer, arranger, producer and Lecturer at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Pawel Tomaszewski has played with various Polish and international jazz stars on stages around the world. He has extended experience in performing solo concerts as well as concerts with symphony orchestras. In his career, Pawel has worked with wide array of artists of various music genres. He has performed alongside such stars as Maria Schneider, Steve Vai, Nigel Kennedy, Rick Margitza, Eric Marienthal, Dean Brown, Xantone Blacq, Larry Coryell, Troy Miller, Steve McCraven, Karen Edwards, Judy Bady, Troy Anderson, Steve Logan, Michał Urbaniak, Krzesimir Dębski, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Jarosław Śmietana, Urszula Dudziak, Anna Serafińska, Mika Urbaniak, Piotr Wojtasik, Grzegorz Nagórski, Sławomir Jaskułke, Mieczysław Szcześniak, Marita Alban Juárez, Halina Młynkowa, Ewa Uryga, Adam Bałdych and many others. His work appears on over 20 CDs.

Norvégia egyik legelismertebb népzenésze, Susanne Lundeng zenei múltja Észak-Norvégia népzenéjében gyökerezik, amelyből hegedűsként, zeneszerzőként, énekesként és zenei szabadgondolkodóként alakított ki nemzetközi figyelemre is számot tartó hangzásvilágot.

A huszonnyolc éves budapesti zongorista, Gerlóczy Zsigmond sokoldalú, kereső muzsikus.

Ezen a koncerten a zenekar szeptetté bővülve, immár három fúvóssal lép színpadra, így a korábbi dalok a hangszerelés által új köntösben hangzanak el, és friss kompozíciók is várhatóak.
