The band, whose members are at the forefront of Hungarian jazz, has developed an outstandingly unique world of sound, characterized mainly by melodic focus and special rhythms. Their music is varied; they enjoy adventuring among musical genres while drawing inspiration from a wide variety of cultures. The iconic album, Around the World, released in 2002 by the BMC Records, features a special interpretation of world music, we can read the words of world-famous guitarist Pat Metheny: "Elemér is one of the best drummers around right now, in my opinion. He plays with such musicality and finesse and has the ability to listen inside each musical moment with the kind of spontaneous decision - making that allows everyone that plays with him to sound their best. He also has a wonderful touch on the instrument - I always enjoy the chance to play with him and to hear him".

This time, they will give a joint concert with the four-time British Jazz Award-winning trumpet player Gerard Presencer on the Opus stage. Gerard - whose several albums have been released by the legendary Blue Note and Impulse Records - has previously worked with excellence such as Joni Mitchell, Ray Charles, Sting and many others. He has also achieved outstanding results as a teacher, writing a book on improvisation, and has been head of the jazz department at the Jazz Institute in Berlin for more than 17 years and for 11 years at the jazz department at the Royal Academy of Music in London. They are preparing to present a joint repertoire with the Balázs Elemér Quartet, in which, in addition to the conductor's compositions, two pieces by the British trumpet player and a Debussy adaptation will also be performed.
