A Budapest Jazz Bones a nemzetközileg is elismert Kiss Zoltán harsonaművész által életre hívott projekt, melyben hazánk kiemelkedő jazz harsonásai, Korb Attila, Csapó Krisztián és Abbas Murád a partnerei. Az együttes a klasszikus zene virtuozitását fuzionálja a jazz improvizatív szabadságával, melyben egy rutinos, összeszokott ritmusszekció van segítségükre Cseke Gábor zongorista, Bögöthy Ádám bőgős és Csízi László dobos személyében.
The concert on the first evening of the Second Hungarian Horn Festival commemorates Ferenc Tarjáni (1938–2017), a prominent figure in the Hungarian music scene as a teacher at the Academy of Music, principal horn player of the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and founding member of the Hungarian Wind Quintet, the Budapest Chamber Ensemble, and the Tarjáni Horn Quartet.
The Modern Art Orchestra’s three-part concert series pays tribute to this year’s centenary of a jazz icon through the legendary collaboration of Miles Davis and Gil Evans.
