The title of their album, to be presented this evening, Fang i Núvols (Mud and Clouds) perfectly describes the sound of the duo composed by Magalí Sare & Manel Fortià. Voice and double bass represent the extremes of an imaginary harmony. The role play is constant in this project, as if one of the musicians controlled the rhythm (like mud), while the other could float freely (like clouds), then vice versa. Experimentation and free improvisation are elements that belong to every performance, rhythms and melodies are changed and mixed, and musicians take risks with voice and double bass percussion.
