David Yengibarian, of Armenian descent, continued his musical studies in Hungary, where he became a sought-after jazz and world music performer and composer. He has released six albums of his own, and has also composed numerous theatre and film scores. His trio, formed in 1999, has undergone many changes over the past two decades, and his bandmates included many prominent representatives of Hungarian jazz. Since 2021, the trio has been joined by the stunning singer Eva Alexandrovna, with whom they perform mainly Brazilian songs, in their own style, spiced up with their own individual style.

Eva Alexandrovna's attachment to Brazilian culture has become part of her identity, and she now has family ties to the native land of samba. Her journey from bossa nova to samba has been guided by the greatest Brazilian artists: Gal Costa, Caetano Veloso, João Gilberto, Cartola, Milton Nascimento and the greatest idol of all, Alcione “Marrom”. Listening to this concert will not only give the audience an insight into this fiercely pulsating culture, but also into the emotional and spiritual world that is necessary to convey it.
