Ég Alatti 5: On live scapes of music – record release concert (HU)

Ég alatti 5 has been playing energetic music since 2015. The backbone of their repertoire is formed by their own compositions, which in style and drive are reminiscent of the hard-bop and modal jazz of the 1960s, yet unique in character.

Sometimes inspired by natural influences and folk music, they strive to create their own organic sound. The friendship between the members and the rhyming compositions of Udvardi and Baló give free rein to the flow of live music. In the first half of the evening, they select songs from the material from their debut album, Élő zenei tájakon (On live scapes of music), released in June, while the second half features some of their most recent compositions.

Table reservations are automatically added during ticket purchase.
Please note that if you purchase an odd number of seats, you might have to share the table with others, especially if the concert is sold out.
For the best dining experience please arrive around 7pm.
We hold reservations until 8pm.

Our offer

Polina Pastirchak has selected songs from the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century – providing a delightful variety nurtured by the musical atmosphere of the cities and the rich colours of late Romantic and early 20th-century style.

The Modern Art Orchestra began operating twenty years ago and has since become one of Hungary's most innovative and diverse musical workshops. To mark this anniversary, the ensemble is celebrating with a three-part premiere series at the Budapest Music Center concert hall. All three evenings of the series, entitled MAO–XX, will feature new compositions and unique musical worlds, where contemporary jazz, classical tradition and poetry all play a role.
