The singer studied music at one of the most prestigious music schools in Havana and reaped her first success in her home country as she has performed at numerous Cuban and South American festivals. In addition to professional accolades, he was able to sing with the musicians of the world-famous Buena Vista Social Club. He moved to Hungary after getting to know Gábor Winand, with whom he worked until his death. Meanwhile, Elsa's musical interest expanded, resulting in a complex rhythmic and melody-oriented repertoire that combined Afro-jazz with bebop notes. Elsa's concerts are characterized by sweeping music and an energetic, explosive performance style, which is the essence of her own compositions too.
