His own trio, founded in 2015, in which we can also get to know him as a composer, is a special focus of his activities. Their highly successful Little Beggar was released on BMC Records in 2018, and their third album will also appear on the same label in 2023. Áron Tálas Trio's playing is extremely energetic and display a wide scale of dynamics. The melting pot of Tálas's compositions incorporates elements of classical, Hungarian folk and popular music, yet the musical profile of the repertoire is absolutely consistent. Listening to the trio is a special treat, if only because the ideas of the three musicians are capable of taking the musical process in a new direction at any moment.
