World music containing contemporary improvisational elements, but drawing on the treasure trove of Hungarian folk music. The material of the Uljana Quartet's songs consists of authentic Hungarian folk songs and the living, breathing layers of today's music. Dense, yet fresh music, thought-provoking, contemporary and Hungarian.

Nasip Kısmet is the brainchild of Arif Erdem Ocak, the Turkish-born musician who resides in Budapest, Hungary since 2010, best-known as a founding member and co-songwriter of the famed Ankara band Seksendört who topped charts mid to-late 2000s with consecutive hits.

After four concerts in 2023, János Mátyás Stark, Gergely Devich, and Fülöp Ránki are announcing a new series at the BMC, now under the name of Trio Haris. Their second concert will be dedicated to Shostakovich and Takemitsu, also featuring a piece by Schubert.
